Stone & Jewelry Submissions
Instructions for sending stones, existing jewelry, or client pieces to FJW for work.
Before You Ship
- —Contact Ryan before sending any stones or jewelry. All submissions must be pre-approved and logged.
- —Include a completed submission form with every package. Download the form from the Documents section.
- —List every item being sent — stone count, carat weight, metal type, and any known condition issues.
- —FJW is not responsible for items received without prior authorization or a submission form.
Packaging Requirements
- —Wrap each stone or piece individually in tissue or foam. Do not mix loose stones in the same packet.
- —Use a rigid outer box. Padded envelopes are not acceptable for stones or finished jewelry.
- —Double-box high-value shipments. Declare full replacement value for insurance purposes.
Shipping Instructions
- —Ship via FedEx or UPS with signature required. Do not use USPS for stones or jewelry.
- —Insure for full replacement value. FJW's liability is limited to the declared value on the shipping label.
- —Email Ryan the tracking number as soon as the package ships.
